Tithe Barn, Anglesey

This proposal sought to reinvent former works cottages sited adjacent to a listed threshing barn, this sensitive site has resulted in a ‘light’ touch proposal which looks to insert sleeping accommodation with the former ruin, whilst all new living accommodation along with ancillary accommodation is housed within a contemporary extension, this approach clearly delineates what is new and what is old. The proposal has been designed as to reduce the impact the new build element has on the existing barn whilst exploiting the fantastic views of the nearby Snowdonia the site is afforded.
