A contemporary new wing to an existing listed building is proposed for Kingsley Healthcare as part of their ongoing redevelopment of existing care home stock.

Located within a leafy garden site the scheme aims to minimise its impact with careful material choices and thoughtful plan arrangements.

New centralised kitchen and laundry facilities will provide a much needed uplift to the existing facilities and a “Haha” style corridor connection provides a necessary link between the two buildings whilst being hidden from view across the site.

The large green wall helps the extension bed into its surrounding providing both visual impact and added biodiversity to the site.
